3 Stars Fun but gets boring
It seems fun at first but it gets rather boring after awhile. I can’t seem to get the crouching to work at all. The balance board makes it a little easier to play. So it’s nice to find some way to use the board other than wii fit.

5 Stars We Ski
As a former skier I love this game. Way Cool. Like skiing in my head!!

4 Stars Great fun!
Our 4 year old loves this game. It allows him to mimic skiing motions well.

5 Stars Adventure and Exercise
I am a grandmother and a skier and I love this game. My two little granddaughters could not get enough of it. I think that there are so many amusements and challenges, with ski school lessons, included that it keeps one’s interest. We use this with the balance board and it makes indoor exercise fun.

Ordering process good, timely delivery, but not happy with the game, White’s ski game is much better.

2 Stars Disappointing
Thought this game looked fun with all of the different sporting options. Basically I was looking for something that would expand Wii Sports. This is not it. If only used with a controller the game is very boring and basic overall. I have not yet played it with a wii fit board which might transform the game, but was so turned off by the game prior to owning the wii balance board that I have yet to venture to play it again.

Give it a try with the wii board, but it is not worth the money without it.

3 Stars Winter Sports 2 – fun game
This is a fun game, but isn’t easily mastered. Difficulty understsanding what moves on the Wii Balance Board to do to make the game go smoothly.

3 Stars Nice game for use with the Balance Board
Nice game, directions on how to use it could be better, but they were fun to do with the Wii Balance Board.

2 Stars Ok game
I got this game because it was less expensive than the Shaun White game, it seemed to have different games that you could play not just snowboarding and they had it used at the store so I could try it for 7 days and if I didn’t like it I could take it back… Well I am taking it back! It is kind of confusing, the balance board capability is nice but not very intuitive and it is hard to get used to playing it. The worst part of the game is the announcers (you can turn them off but it took a bit to figure out how)they are constantly insulting you as you learn how to play and they have the same side conversation with each other about some fight one of them had with a judge or something in every single game. If you are trying to decide between this and Shaun White’s game go with Shaun White!!! I borrowed that game from a friend after getting this one and it is great because it is so intuitive and they don’t insult you! I am going to cough up the extra cash and get that game instead of this one!

4 Stars Wii game
This was a gift for a family member, age 13. He enjoys the game immensely, but currently does not own a Wii fit board and believes it will be more enjoyable once he has obtained this.

Imagine Fashion Party

Imagine Fashion Party

Imagine: Fashion Party is a Wii-exclusive game that places players in the high-pressure world of fashion design and encourages them to create and develop new looks and styles on-the-fly. Colorful mini-games put players in the role of an up-and-coming designer who is out to win a spot on a hot new Project Runway-style reality television program. Virtual designers can choose from a variety of elements to piece together new ensembles as a finicky panel of judges looks on. Other Workshop modes focus on Hair, Makeup, and Accessories, as well. The ii Remote and Nunchuk are used in many activities, taking the place of hairbrushes, scissors and other fashion design tools in players’ hands. The game is also compatible with the Wii Balance Board, for players who can think on their feet.

4 Stars Imagine Fashion Party for the Wii
I’m 38 and we bought this for my 9 year-old step daughter and I play it just as often as she does. I like the free form play and the competitions in which you have to make certain choices for the model. We do have problems with the Wii remotes registering correctly on the screen, but have been able to overlook that and keep playing. The possibilities are endless. Different lengths for skirts, dresses, and pants. Plenty of styles to chose from and colors from solids to stripes to patterns. There are four different cat-walks to chose from for your model to walk down. Plenty of hair styles and colors to chose from as well. It has accessories as well such as shoes, handbags, jackets, gloves and stockings. If you have a little girl that likes to play dress-up with her dolls and plays video games, this is a good game to buy.

all in all, this game is worth a buy. i was intrigued when i first heard about this title. the imagine software seems to be doing great on the DS platform, with only a small release of their games for Wii. so i wanted to know what all the hype was about. at first it was hard to understand how to work the controls. but luckily, the beginning stages act a tutorial to help you learn the controls. after a short while, they became intuitive and i was breezing through the game. you can play freestyle or you can enter a project runway competition of sorts. freestyle lets you take your time and dress up the models any way you like, do their makeup and hair, and see your final creation as they strut on the runway. competition mode is you competing against other wanna-be designers and each round the lowest scoring person is eliminated. the tasks within each round are timed and incorporate a fashion theme, so you pretty much have to style the model as you’re instructed. while this can sound boring, they made it interesting by giving you a few choices within the design guidelines and a time limit, so no time to overthink anything. this goes for clothes as well as hair and makeup. sometimes you’ll be pleased with the overall look you’ve created, and sometimes you’ll feel bad you made the model look so bad…i know i did. after you’ve gone to the trouble of doing up your model, you now have to walk her on the runway. you can do this with either the wiimote and nunchucks, or the wii balance board. i can tell you that both were taxing. this part of the game is probably my least fave. it all seemed like an afterthought. no matter how hard and fast you fling the remotes or how well you copied the moves on the balance board, somehow the moves wouldn’t always register correctly, therefore causing your model to misstep on the runway. how dreadful. i guess i can live with that, but honestly i get frustrated with this part of the game. i would say the wiimote and nunchucks read better than the balance board, but you can come to your own conclusions about that if you have both options available. if not, you’re not missing anything, so please don’t go out in search of a balance board for this purpose alone. as you successfully complete more competitions, you unlock more styles to try on your model in free play. this is a great game for anyone interested in fashion. i would suggest this game for kids who are old enough to read. only because in parts of the game the dialogue is read aloud and other parts you have to read the dialogue yourself. that also made no sense to me. either voice all of the characters or none at all.

5 Stars lots of fun
I love this game. It gets you moving and when I first started using it my arms were actually sore the next day. It is all about boxing though so if you aren’t into that then this game isn’t for you. The only minor issue I have with this game is sometimes in the middle of one of those 15 minute workouts I’ll acidently press a button on the top of the remote that makes you quit the workout. I wish there was an “are you sure” option since I’ve done it more than once. Other than that, no complaints. This gets you moving thats for sure.

4 Stars better than wii fit.
This game is fun even without the use of the Wii balance board. The shape boxing exercises are challenging. It gives your upper body / arms a good workout. It’s a good stress reliever after work. The only thing that would be nice is to allow custom soundtrack while you’re working out.

4 Stars Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout
I love this CD and have gotten in great shape using it! I find it user friendly and it motivates me to work out. I really enjoy that it’s compatible with the WII FIT…those exercises I find nicely challenging. I haven’t quite figured out the jumprope section which is disappointing because that’s why I really purchased it. The CD came with a jumprope and I thought maybe I’d insert the WII remotes in the rope handles and jump normally but that’s not the case! I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Other than that, I highly recommend this CD!

4 Stars Good workout
I find this to be a very good filler or supplemental workout. Not on the same level as running or rowing but it is a very good workout. Much better than WII fit. WII Fit is just too slow paced to be considered as a serious workout in my opinion.

5 Stars Fan-tas-tic
This game kicked my butt, it is fun and keeps you engaged – which is not the same with other games I have tried. With an emphasis on boxing, it allowed me to work my arms and upper body in general which gave me a better work out overall!
