1 Star Just Terrible
When I heard Sonic and the Black knight was coming out and was finally going to be a good 3-d sonic game I was excited. I bought the game but when I played it is just was… terrible. The story mode gameplay is pointless and just running around (you don’t even control the running) and waggling the wii remote. The boss battles were also terrible. It just waggling the remote and hoping that it hits the boss. It really is quite terrible. The story mode is very easy and gets over extremely fast. Even if you like waggling the remote the game still gets over very quickly. Finally the online play. It is crap. You compare your scores to other peoples scores and half the time it doesn’t work. The multiplayer mode was their chance hit big like with brawl. Unfortunately, the screwed that up as well. It just more pointless waggling and just gets boring. Don’t be fooled by reviews commending the game it deserves not to be bought at all. It really is just terrible.

4 Stars suenryan
Bought for my son….he seemed to complete it really quickly though, not sure it was worth the money……..

4 Stars Sonic after the secret rings
the story is like sonic and the secret rings but the game is better it’s easier to control fun to play not as fun as sonic unleashed but one thing i’d change about the game is multiplayer mode thats kind of boring also great music if u love sonic music

5 Stars Awsomness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is one of the best Sonic games out there. Where Sonic weilds a sword, it is a nice addition to the Sonic series. Think of it as playing a Sonic game, with the same controls to control your sword as The Legend of Zelda twilight princess for the Wii. It has a great story and great graphics. I would highly recomend this to any Sonic fan out there.

5 Stars Awesome, but easy
This game is awesome. You use a sword, which is actually fun. The Blacksmith can make new swords, and you can have sword fights in multiplayer. Plus, after you beat the King, you can use Gawain(Knuckles), Lancelot(Shadow), and

Percival(Blaze) on certain levels. There are lots of side missions, and you can get people to follow you(wave at you when you play) by doing well and giving poor people rings. However, the main story is easy(about 5 hours for me) but getting all the bonus and multiplayer characters will take a while. Awesome game!

Nintendo fan site Nintendo Everything have managed to nab some new screens and artwork of upcoming Nintendo Wii game Sonic and the Black Knight. The images look a little grainy as if they’ve been scanned from a magazine but no magazine is mentioned in the sites post. Most of the screens we’ve already seen but a couple are new and there’s also some artwork of the big bad wolf Black Knight riding horse-back, we’re yet to find out the horse’s name though but for now I’ll call him Dreadagus since
Box Art Blast! Sonic and the Black Knight Edition Posted on Dec 11, 2008 04:07:01 PM Take a look above and check out what appears to be the final box art for Sonic and the Black Knight (Euro). I dig it, don’t you? This game has quickly been moving up my “must have” list of titles for Nintendo Wii. Recent screenshots suggest that Sega is putting quite an effort into this one so let’s keep our Wiimotes crossed that it will play as good as it looks. [?]

5 Stars This game is amazing!
This game is extremely realistic. I own a Black Knight and the game version is an exact copy. If you like some of the older Williams games this title is a must have. I just hope they make another version w/ some additional titles.

5 Stars Fun game!
I enjoy playing this game. With pinball, each play is different so I never get bored. I hope they release pinball games from other manufacturers too, such as Gottlieb. I’m a happy customer! Fun! Fun! Fun!

5 Stars I feel like I’m in HighSchool again!
Let me be clear, I LOVED TAXI in highschool. Loved it.

If I didn’t already have a Wii and if the only game I got in the packaged game was TAXI, I’d have bought it all to have this game.

It is SO like the actual game. The only flaw I can find is that I used to be able to get “Gorby” with the right flipper, and I can’t quite do it wth this game. Only a TAXI fanatic would pick on this. And that flaw is a drop of water in an ocean. They also mimicked the “free game” crack-sound. The machine used to really resound when it “cracked”. They got the sound, but you can’t really mimick that unique feel of the real thing.

I CANNOT BELIEVE how WELL they mimicked the actual game. Even the slight randomness of when you pull back the spring lever to put the ball into play. Its never perfectly repeatable. And they got it down.

When I heard “Comrad Taxi” for the first time, I felt like a million bucks, I LOVED this game. And now I have it, without the full sized machine sitting in my house.

I felt like I did years ago. Sometimes I’d leave slightly dejected with the “I’ll get you tomorrow TAXI” feeling, sometimes so gleeful when I picked up everyone and got the CRACK sound.

And it was like I never left it. The first time the ball went a certain path, I was like “Oh man, that feels like a lost ball right down between the flippers” and sure enough, it did exactly that. I was even estatic about this game when I lost the first ball!

General Stuff:

This game is not easy, but its not impossible. That’s what I like.

You gotta have a good run and be “in the zone” to pick up all the passengers.

I also like that the passenger who needs to be picked up calls out for you. So you’re not confused about “What should I be trying to do now?” like alot of pinball games.

You can get “2 balls at once” when you do a certain task.

2 balls at once is a mixed bag, because you can’t “line up” your shots like you can when you have one ball sometimes.

THANK YOU !!

(Note, I only played Taxi on it. I could play Taxi for hours straight. I guess one day I’ll get to the other ones.)

5 Stars Perfect for gift giving
I got this for my guy but now I’m playing it all the time. OMG, its just like the real thing but better! This is a must for all game lovers. So much better than I thought it was going to be.

5 Stars ABSOLUTELY amazing !!! You get more than what you pay for !!!
Being a 1980-1990’s pinball aficionado, I’ve played them all in the arcades. Quarter after quarter, replay after replay… I pride myself having spent many hours on pinball for mere dollars. I’ve spent a good deal of my college years making my entertainment value stretch.

However, the main thing lacking in home-versions of pinball games (either on computer platform or gaming consoles) is the “pinball wizard” feeling from merely pushing buttons and watching the balls bounce in uncontrollable patterns.

“Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection” is hands-down an exception to the disappointment I’m used to. Far superior to any pinball simulator I’ve EVER played, this adaptation is so close to the real thing, it’s incredible. The biggest drawback from many home-version pinball games is the upright “flippers-at-your-hands” feeling. Astoundingly, with Pinball HOF, I get the feeling that I’m at a real arcade as I “bump” the machines using my Wii remotes.

Equally unbelievable and impressive are the accurate depictions of the graphics and sounds from EACH machine. SVG Distribution did such a fantastic job recreating the Wii version that it’s hard to differentiate the software from the original machine. The older machines (i.e. Jive Time) have that classic relaxed pinball-saloon feel to them; however, the newer machines (i.e. Funhouse, Whirlwind, Taxi) give you the sensation of nudging the ball with your body movements. I don’t know if what I’m trying to say is clear, but to pinball enthusiasts, you’ll know what I mean by moving the ball “not with the flippers, but your body.”

If SVG were to release another Pinball Hall of Fame (Gottlieb? Stern?), I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, pinball is undergoing a demise in popularity these days. I don’t know why. A pinball wizard could be easily entertained for long periods of time dropping only a few coins. Hmmm… must be today’s economy that’s driving pinball production down.

Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about this game. It has been keeping me entertained to the point that I haven’t even played Super Mario Kart yet, a game that I bought the same day as Pinball HOF. That’s my $.02… which will only buy .08 gallons of gas.
