Nintendo bossman Reggie Fils-Aime suggested that third-parties don't yet understand the Wii platform. He reckons people who purchase Wiis are interested in games that sell strongly on other systems, but that the quality is missing.

Nintendo has announced plans to let Wii owners save software they're downloading straight to an SD card. Speaking at a press conference in Tokyo today, bossman Satoru Iwata admitted the console's "insufficient memory storage" was an issue that had to be addressed.
