5 Stars Same great game with enough new twists to keep it fun!
I played the first Tomb Raider game on the Sega Saturn in the ’90s and it’s always been my favorite game. I got this one for Wii as a gift and worried that it would be too similar as I still remember stuff from the original. Don’t worry–it’s not! The locations are the same but they’ve changed enough in design to still be interesting. There are also new puzzles, different ways to move, different controls and new features for the Wii that make it feel like a new game that’s oddly familiar. I haven’t finished it but am loving it! It’s just as frustrating as the original game when you’re stumped (and I’ll admit to having looked for a couple of answers online), which makes it just as rewarding when you accomplish whatever you’re trying to do. I recommend it for anyone who prefers puzzle solving and timing challenges to straight shoot-’em-up action. The controls are different and the shooting can be tricky at first but once you get the hang of it it’s not a problem and Lara can do so much more than in the original that it makes up for a little irritation during the learning curve.

5 Stars Tomb Raider Anniversary Wii
This was my first time playing a Tomb Raider game, and I highly enjoyed it. The puzzles were challenging and fun, and of course sometimes frustrating! The only drawback (which is probably on all the versions) is that sometimes it is impossible to turn your view to actually see where you need to go. So just close your eyes, jump and pray there is a ledge or rope there!

5 Stars Tomb Raider Anniversary for WII
I like all the Tomb Raider games. And this new WII game is the best to date

5 Stars GAME!!!!!!
I love this game me and my boyfriend play it every night it is so much phone. I played the 1st tomb raider game for the very 1st playstation and couldn’t play but this one i can and love!!!!!!

4 Stars Brings back old memories while still looking new
As an early adopter of games on computers who still remembers things like DOS4GW, OpenGL and game ports on motherboards, this game really brings back some fond memories of 3D goodness back in the day. The new added controls specific to the Wiimotes is a nice-to-have feature that adds a little to the basic solid gameplay that built this franchise up from the ground with the first Tomb Raider. I got this on sale, but in my opinion it’s worth the [...] I think it regularly retails at on Amazon.

4 Stars Good Decent Racing Game but far from perfect.
It is definitely not a 2 player game. I also am upset that you cannot get to all the cars/tracks. Why in the heck do they do this? I paid my money and want what I paid for! I also hope there will be some cheats soon.

Overall it is not a bad game. Graphics are decent but not as good a I had hoped on a 50″ plasma. Car control is fair but with only an on/off throttle it detracts from the realism. Tracks are well done. Biggest drawback is the in car view which is really the only useful one but somewhat difficult to see the upcoming corners.

If you are looking for a real racing game for the Wii there are not too many choices but this is a good one.

1 Star do not buy
do not buy this game unless you enjoy purchasing replacement remotes.( because it is so f*@$ing frustarting) i have never in all of my years of game play been so disgusted with a game. you can’t keep the car on the road, you can’t earn new cars till you win but you can’t win if you can’t keep the car on the road. there are no cheats, nothing. the only fun i have with this game is just going backwards on the track and headon crashing the other cars.so in summation if you hate someone with all your hearts this is the perfect game for them otherwise the worst thing i’ve ever seen

p.s. 1 star because i have to i meant it to be no stars

3 Stars Definitely a challenge
As the name indicates, this game is a challenge. Even in the arcade mode, it is very difficult (at least for me!) to finish anywhere but last. Although, I have not played it much, I can definitely see where this game could keep me occupied.

Use of the Wii wheel or controller and nunchuck are hard to master with this game.

3 Stars Frustrating Game for a kid
My 6 year-old begged for this game, but it has proven to be very difficult for him to play. My husband, who is usually great at all other driving type video games, even finds this one to be challenging. My husband describes it as an “OK” game but definetely not great. Also, only one person can play. My 6 year old generally ends up in tears b/c it is just too frustrating. My 10 year old played it once and has never played again. For a good fun racing type game, my family LOVES mario kart. Everyone can play Mario Kart and have fun.

2 Stars Rent first….then decide.
Wow. Excellent graphics… if you’re coming off an Atari 2600. I played this game on my 61″ 1080p dlp but everything looked blocky in the distance. Physics are good, but poor graphics and the lack of any bass (sounded like I was driving a Yugo, even with an Onkyo 705 7.1 speaker system) killed it for me. Good thing it was a blockbuster rental.

Nintendo Wii – Can it make you Healthier?

October 25th, 2008 Nintendo Wii Review No comments
By D Grammer It has been quite some time since video games made their entrance into popular culture, but as soon as they did, it was clear that they were here to stay. Video games have always offered a virtual escape, the chance to try any multitude of things. Players could experience the action and adventure of a treasure hunt, the thrill of a high-speed race, the frenzied chaos of war, all without leaving the comforts of the couch. Therein was the biggest drawback of these systems as well:

Wii Perfect Shot Gun

Wii Perfect Shot Gun

Traditional one handed pistol-like grip / Aiming sight increases accuracy / Wii Remote easily slides into grip and locks into place

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars will perfect shot gun
My son has a great time using this wii shot gun for his game.

The only drawback….the gun fell to the ground, about two feet (my fault!!! :0( ) and the orange safety thing fell off (still yet to be found :0/ ).

4 Stars The Perfect Shot
The product is awesome. It came fast to me, and it didn’t have any faults to it. My only complaint that no one can solve, except Tylenol, is that after awhile of playing with the perfect shot, it starts to hurt your wrist. Other than that, the Nintendo Perfect Shot is a good item to have for your Wii.

4 Stars Good product, lots of effort to shoot
The gun holds the controller well and uses the b button to shoot so it works only with games that shoot using the b button. If the game uses the A button to shoot (Resident Evil) you shouldn’t use this gun. My only complaint is the trigger is stiff enough where you really have to work to pull the trigger fast enough to kill the enemies. Good gun overall.

5 Stars Nice gun
I just received my Perfect Shot and I LOVE it. Time will tell about the durability, but this is great for House of the Dead. I found it to be comfortable to hold and easy to handle. I have seen no issues with the remote lifting when the trigger is pushed. If the orange strap breaks, as some reviewers state it has, I plan on just using a zip tie or rubber band. My friend and I switched of last night between this and the Zapper, guess what? I’m buying a second Perfect Shot today!

3 Stars Pretty Good Gun.
I’ve two of this perfect shot to play with my girlfriend. It’s a great gun for certain shooting game but not all. The only complain I’ve is the handle seems to be a little too big. You might feel some pain on your hand after long period of time playing with this gun. It’s no bid deal just need to take a break from time to time. I hope they made the handle a little more comfortable. Over all still good.

2 Stars Not Bad
These skins are good, they do stop the controller from slipping. I wouldn’t recomend using the cover for the nunchuck controller, it’s hard to get on and one of them ripped in the process.

1 Star Frustrating at best!
Each time we tried to put one of these on they would rip at different points along the way. I think we ended up with 3 out of 8 still intact and the rest went in the trash, not worth the hassle of sending back!

1 Star sucks
IU bought these thinking they were simular to the jackets that come with the Wii remotes. But they are much harder to attach. I ripped two of them trying to put them on. Ended up throwing the rest away.

1 Star Very Cheapy Made – DO NOT BUY!!
Was very dissapointed, they ripped easily just putting them on the controllers!! I wouldn’t even give these to someone as a present.

4 Stars Review for Bargaincell- 4-Piece Value Combo Pack of Permium Protective Silicon/silicone Skin Snap-on Cover Case for Nintendo Wii
My family is all about customizing our stuff, from our cars to our clothes, you name it, we’ve personalized it in some way. So we loved the idea of skins for our Wii-motes! They arrived much sooner than the posted date of arrival, which is always a nice surprise. As soon as we got them, we slapped them on and began using them. The ONE drawback is that when you have something the remote needs to be attached to, such as the Wii Mario-kart steering wheel, it will NOT work with the skins on. So there’s a lot of downtime in slipping them on and off.

Overall, love the product, and was very impressed with the customer service!
