Spider Man 3

Spider Man 3

Spider-Man 3 is bigger, bolder and better action as you become the famous superhero! Even the noblest hero has a dark side, and the rush of protecting New York lets you unleash it. This is Spider-Man like you’ve never seen him before. In his black suit, he’ll show off incredible agility, amazing durability and awe-inspiring web powers. But be warned – as you explore these new feelings and powers, you’ll struggle against the darkness that might tear his world apart.

4 Stars Spidey Rocks
This game is fun, addictive, but short. If you play it straight (morning to late night or even earlier) you will beat the game. However there are several difficulty levels and several character combinations which keep it interesting. Best part of the game (unlike the DS version) is that you can choose your sidekick and the story is much more developed.

5 Stars What’s the Problem With Spider-Man 3?
I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews on Spider-Man 3 the game. When I started playing this game, I thought wow, this game is awsome. I flick my wrist and out shoots a web line! I thought to myself, finally a spider-man game that makes me feel like spider-man. But after reading a few of the reviews,it seemes that alot of people don’t like it because it’s nothing new. Well, fine then, but if your a Spider-Man fan, like I am, then you will love this game. I’ve beaten it like 3 times already and I play it over and over again.

Buy the game, I think it is totally worth it.

4 Stars Best Spiderman 3 Experience out of any console!
SM3 on the Wii has truly shown what the right minds with the right console can do. The game itself and the story may not have been all that great, but the web slinging with the Wii remotes was probably the most satisfying feeling I have had on the Wii. If you buy the 360,PS3 or PS2 versions you’re going to get the same game, with almost nothing different. The Wii version offers you an amazing control scheme that can’t be beat by any of the other consoles. If you really want to feel like spiderman swinging around the city, buy the Wii version!

3 Stars Fun in spots, falls short of expectations
pro:

-Bruce Campbell…nuff said.

-web swinging is fun and intuitive.

-good selection of spidey villains.

-being able to level up and choose new abilities.

con:

-the city is extremely bland. How are you supposed to scour for bonus items in a city that all looks vanilla?

-short story line.

-fighting system is extremely simplified and boring.

Could have been much better, sad to say not as interesting or fun as Spidey 2 or Ultimate Spidey, two games this one obviously raided heavily for ideas and mission designs.

2 Stars Disappointing
It’s no secret that like the film itself, the video game tie-in for Spider-Man 3 is a disappointment on the consoles. The Wii edition of the game is no different, and what makes it even more disappointing is the fact that the game’s attempt to make use of the Wii-mote is an ultimate failure. The game follows the plot of the film for the most part, as you play as Spidey in an open world New York and take on generic baddies as well as big time villains like Sandman, Venom, the New Goblin, and the Lizard to boot. The game attempts to make sue of the Wii-mote to swing through the city, which you’ll either enjoy or hate, which along with the sloppy combat controls, really mar what could have been otherwise solid gameplay. The game’s look is marred as well by an overly choppy frame rate combined with stiff character models. There are a few good points about Spider-Man 3 though, but they are few indeed. The game features voice acting from many of the principal actors from the film (including Tobey Maguire, James Franco, Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace, J.K. Simmons, and Bruce Campbell who reprises his role as your video gaming guide) and swinging through New York City is still pretty fun. However, the repetitive gameplay gets boring, and the game has an overly linear feel to it as well. All that being said, Spider-Man 3 is worth checking out if you own a Wii and are a Spidey fan, but don’t expect anything great from it at all.

Wii Perfect Shot Gun

Wii Perfect Shot Gun

Traditional one handed pistol-like grip / Aiming sight increases accuracy / Wii Remote easily slides into grip and locks into place

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars will perfect shot gun
My son has a great time using this wii shot gun for his game.

The only drawback….the gun fell to the ground, about two feet (my fault!!! :0( ) and the orange safety thing fell off (still yet to be found :0/ ).

4 Stars The Perfect Shot
The product is awesome. It came fast to me, and it didn’t have any faults to it. My only complaint that no one can solve, except Tylenol, is that after awhile of playing with the perfect shot, it starts to hurt your wrist. Other than that, the Nintendo Perfect Shot is a good item to have for your Wii.

4 Stars Good product, lots of effort to shoot
The gun holds the controller well and uses the b button to shoot so it works only with games that shoot using the b button. If the game uses the A button to shoot (Resident Evil) you shouldn’t use this gun. My only complaint is the trigger is stiff enough where you really have to work to pull the trigger fast enough to kill the enemies. Good gun overall.

5 Stars Nice gun
I just received my Perfect Shot and I LOVE it. Time will tell about the durability, but this is great for House of the Dead. I found it to be comfortable to hold and easy to handle. I have seen no issues with the remote lifting when the trigger is pushed. If the orange strap breaks, as some reviewers state it has, I plan on just using a zip tie or rubber band. My friend and I switched of last night between this and the Zapper, guess what? I’m buying a second Perfect Shot today!

3 Stars Pretty Good Gun.
I’ve two of this perfect shot to play with my girlfriend. It’s a great gun for certain shooting game but not all. The only complain I’ve is the handle seems to be a little too big. You might feel some pain on your hand after long period of time playing with this gun. It’s no bid deal just need to take a break from time to time. I hope they made the handle a little more comfortable. Over all still good.

Wii Fit Yoga Mat

August 23rd, 2008 Nintendo Wii Review No comments

Wii Fit Yoga Mat

Licensed By Nintendo / Composed Of Eco-friendly Materials / Features 3 Layers Of Durability To Reduce Impact On Floor

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Wii Fit Yoga Mat
Exactly as described. It also keeps the wii fit board in place. I love this product and would recommend it.

1 Star You don’t need this…
I bought this as a gift thinking it worked with the Wii Fit. Well, it does work with it “supposedly” but doesn’t do anything special other than act as a mat to lay your wii fit board on as you do Yoga.(I should’ve known better I suppose). Bad Decision. Wouldn’t waste money on it again if I had known it was this useless. Also, it says Wii Fit on the mat in the picture – I got a green yoga mat that costs $10 after I paid $27 – don’t do it!!

3 Stars Just like al the others
If you can fint a regular yoga mat for cheaper, you should buy that one. this is more because it carries the Wii logo. but this mat is just like every other yoga mat out there.

4 Stars Does the job
The mat does the job – much more comfortable than the floor. However, I am new to yoga so I don’t really know what’s different about this mat versus a normal yoga mat. Not really much to say about a piece of material! One thing I would say, if you don’t mind the hard floor you probably don’t want any kind of mat with the Wii balance board as it gets tiring moving the mat and the balance board around.

2 Stars just a mat
This is just a yoga mat and its overpriced. Who cares that it is green and has the wii fit logo? you can get simmilar mats for 5$ at your local target
