These are a great price and I bought 2 for my Wii. Both arrived quickly and worked fine.

2 Stars Flimsy, Flimsy, Flimsy.
I don’t know how these third parties get away with this stuff. Barely a few days after buying this product, the z button no longer works, and the analog stick is flimsy at best. It was nice and rigid when I first got it, but it deteriorated quickly.

This item is definately not for hardcore gamers. I can’t even use this thing anymore, and i’m already on the lookout for a replacement.

4 Stars I really liked it
I am in my late 50’s and new to Wii, actually video games in general.

I found that Mind over Mutant is just about right for me. It is neither too easy nor too hard, and I cannot wait to get to each level to see what is going on next. So while this game may not be for everyone, it is a good match for me.

I have purchased the Crash Bandicoots for my Gamecube, and now have the Crash for my Wii. I really like this game, and find myself entertained for hours. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to have fun !!

5 Stars Perfect for some fun
My roommate and I picked this game up as a rental remembering how much fun the original was. I was thrilled to see that this version is just as much fun!

Yes, some of the cartoons are a little cheesy, but after you get past the first bit, they don’t show up so frequently. I was a little dismayed that they “force” you to watch through the animated bits – until I figured out that it’s a two button combination to skip. (Plus sign, then A).

No, it’s not a game set up for the serious, hardcore gamer – but if you’re like us and are just looking for something you can play for fun for a few hours, then it works great. You don’t lose your place, and it’s easy to pick up again later.

Excellent for 9 to 11 year old boys. My kids and their friends love it.

3 Stars A good game, but very short
I got Crash; Mind over Mutants for Christmas and found it to be a very fun game. The controls are easy, with decent graphics and a good storyline. There were a variety of lands, although for the most part your kept on a path that takes to to and from places allowing little exploration.

Crash was also dissapointingly easy and short. I beat the game after only five hours of gameplay, during which I don’t think that my character died in combat once (save for the times I accidently fell off the side). On a simliar note to its difficulty, there are no ‘lives’ in this game. If you die, you appear where you died again. No getting sent back to start, not penalities, nothing. To some this may be a good thing, but it was a dissapointment to me.

I would recommend renting this game. Younger children will enjoy it, but teens and adults will probably grow bored with its easy gameplay.

1 Star Don’t buy unless you have Game Cube games!
I bought this product for my Wii because I needed a classic controller. Turns out that this only works if you have the Game Cube games on your Wii. It DOES NOT work for the regular Nintendo games, both for the Wii games and the downloadable classic games. I returned this to a store that buys back games and received $2 for it. Basically, I lost $20 on this purchase.

5 Stars Wii … Easy set up – excellent gaming
I followed the directions in the manual and they work PERFECTLY with my Wii and GameCube games.

I’d recommend this.

5 Stars Excellent GameCube Controllers for the Wii
I bought two of these and decided they were good enough to buy two more.

Pros:

-Relatively inexpensive.

-Long battery life (approximately 50 hours gaming with rumble on).

-Relatively light (most of the weight comes from the batteries) and comfortable.

-Range is excellent (for sure greater than 30′).

Cons:

-With four of them in the Wii, they are clearly fighting for space pushing against each other. With three, you can’t easily tell but plugging the fourth one in is tight fit.

-The joysticks seem not to be ultra sensitive so it is pretty hard to make characters move slowly/precisely in games.

Notes:

-Every controller comes with its own little box that plugs into the Wii.

-The controller is permanently bound to the box it came with. Think of it like an invisible cable connecting it so whatever controller is associated with the box is the player that controller will be.

-The packing is a bit hard to get the controller out of but you only have to do it once so it isn’t that big of a deal.

-The light on the controller flashes slow when not connected to a controller box, it flashes fast when the batteries are almost dead, and it is steady when connected and has plenty of charge.

-The Wii Remotes stop working once you enter Gamecube mode. As such, the Bluetooth in the Wii goes off. That is why this comes with boxes that plug into the Wii.

5 Stars Am I holding a Wavebird? Nope, this one has no wires.
WOW! I was skeptical that this, or any, wireless controller could perform as well as the original wavebird or several wildcat controllers I have. I received this in days, opened the package and inserted 3 Enloop rechargeable batteries. It has been 1 week of playing 3-4 hours/day and performance continues to rival the wavebird. If it wasn’t for the freedom of no wires, I wouldn’t notice the difference. There is no delay at all, all of the buttons are 100% responsive. The only difference I have found between this and a wired controller is the rumble is not as powerful. This is certainly helping to reduce the drain on the battery and I do not miss the intensity at all.

I had originally bought only 1, since I wasn’t sure how it would perform. I am purchasing another one today, so I can get my gamecube and all of the wires off the floor. I would recommend this to anyone!

Well I have had the second one now for a month and both are still perfect.

I bought this about a month ago because I desperatley needed a wireless controller for my gcube setup. I have not been this dissapointed in a product from amazon in a very long time. this thing is full of flaws, the biggest being that it eats up batteries even when you dont use it. It ate 3 sets of new batteries when I was only using it about a couple hours a week. the only way to prevent this would be to take out the batteries after each gaming session. the controls are not much better than the power management. the z buttion is sticky to the point where you sometimes need to unplug and plug back in the reciever just to get it to work. the only minor problem with this paperweight is the D pad is too tight and not very springy making it awkward to control. I have used many wireless controls since they became popular and none have come any where near as pathetic and dissapointing as this.
