2 Stars KandelKorner’s cable not the pictured cable BBW
The cable was decent but generic, which is the same cable selling for much less here and on Ebay. So 2 stars its good but not as good as the pictured cable. They made too much money, I was willing to pay more for the pictured cable not the one I got which could have been had for half this price shipped.

5 Stars Great Cable
This is a great wii component cable. It is cheaper than the official Nintendo’s cable and works the same. It came in bulk packaging when I ordered it from kandelskorner. It is about 6 feet and is 24K gold plated. The insulation is nylon. It works great and connects easily. It also easily snaps in place on the wii. After connecting, make sure you go to: wii options>>screen>>480p for HDTV or EDTV.

Please note that this does not make it “HD” only ED (enhanced definition)

I purchased this so I could move my Wii to my second TV without moving all the cabling. As soon as I installed this component cable, I noticed artifacting in the image that was not occurring with the original Nintendo component cables. I was able to isolate the problem to the cables. I suggest everyone avoid them.

2 Stars not fully white… only reason i bought em too. im returning them.
these cables have some kind of shielding over them that cannot be removed, and it is not full white, it has black stitching or something along the side. i got this cable because i thought it was all white, and i wanted it to be inconspicuous against my white wall. well, this breaks the deal for me. theyre going back. they shouldve included a picture of the whole thing and not just the connectors.

2 x Wii Gamecube GC Extension Cable Cord

I bought the cord along with the Outdoor Sports Challenge for Wii. I wasn’t sure I would need it, but I knew the mat for this game was going to be about 15 feet from the TV, so I wanted to be safe. Turns out I was right. The cord for the mat was much too short to reach my TV. The cord works great. It plugs right into the side of the Wii. Great buy for anyone using the Wii games with mats (including DDR).

I purchased these for my Wii as Nintendo no longer produces Wavebird controllers by virtue of them being sued by a patent owner over the technology. I didn’t want to pay for a used Wavebird on eBay, so I bought some of these. I sit back from my HDTV about 9 feet so I needed these for the wired Gamecube controllers and they work very well. Even with Mario Kart Wii, there is some lag with the Wavebird, but there is no lag with these extension cables. Highly recommended!

This is my second set…. since I already had the gamecube controls, I’m using them now with a Nintendo Wii, and it’s much more convenient to have this extension cables to play farther away from the TV. I used them on Rogue Leader and WaveRace, but the kids play “Cars” as well, no issues at all.

Now… if you want to send me a gift with wireless GC controllers, that include vibration features, Feel free to do it!

As I posted a few days ago our family got a new HDTV for Christmas. Since this was our first forray into HDTV, I didn’t have many of the cables I’d need to fully enjoy the full quality. Specifically, it left me with 3 problems I wanted to fix. First, I want to play Nintendo Wii in widescreen so I needed a non-standard cable. Second, I wanted the audio from the cable box to our audio system to have the optical audio cable. In truth, I’ve wanted this cable for more than 6 years but didn’t want

I finally got pushed the update & downloaded NXE to my Xbox 360… first impressions are great. The first thing I did was create my avatar (pictured below). If you are familiar with Mii’s (Nintendo Wii), it’s the same idea. The second thing I did was install the Netflix application and tested a few Watch Now movies. The streaming quality was good & looked great on my HDTV. I wasn’t able to find an HD movie, but the ones I viewed still looked great, so I’m sure the HD stream will look even better.

I try not to use a limited sample size to be indicative of a larger trend*, but over the weekend I decided it would be useful to visit a number of local retailers to get a feel for the market. My goal was to see if the media was right and these establishments truly were barren desolate wastelands housing nothing but spiders building cobwebs on unmoving HDTV inventory. To my shock, not only were the fruit colored iPods not rotting on the shelf but the stores were jam packed. At Best Buy consume
