5 Stars Obscure but fun
Graphics: I thought the graphics were good. I firmly align myself as a retro gamer, but the graphics in horror games are one place where I can easily concede a point or two. I thought that the backgrounds were pretty slick; creepy too.

Music: I don’t put a lot of stock in my game music (which I feel bad about because someone’s hard work goes into it, but it’s not one of my big focuses). I vaguely remember thinking that the music was genre appropriate though.

Story (& voice): I feel voice work in games tends to be lacking. My only problem with it was that the script was a passable Sci-fi/horror flick but the voicing was 1 or 2 grades below. Let’s face it, they don’t get a lot of the super voice talents for video games (think Roger Bumpass or Venus Terzo).

Replay: The puzzles won’t give you much trouble on successive runs, but I’ll probably go through it again just because I really like all of the other aspects of the game.

Fun: Amazing if you like Sci-fi/horror. If you don’t, you may not take a shine to the zombies and blood & creep smeared decor (so why are you looking at getting it anyway?)

I think I may have paid the FULL retail price, roughly to the tune of $30-40, but I adore this game and consider it money well spent.

5 Stars how many good games does the wii have

cons

even with the 480p c. cables it only displays at 480i

broken storyline

the graphic where not upgrade for the wii

4 Stars I had tons of fun
I’m no video game connoisseur, but I had a lot of fun with this game. It was challenging enough that I couldn’t speed right through it, but I also didn’t get stuck anywhere. I enojyed the graphics and don’t have any complaints on the controls. I’m a big Resident Evil fan and while it’s not as good, it definitely had enough similarities that I really enjoyed it.

3 Stars Meh kinda in the middle
The plot is kinda murky. I expect a decent plot out of games in this genre. Maybe I’m too used to Resident Evil and Silent Hill. However , the puzzles are fun to get through. I feel the battle system is weak however. So it cancels out. The atmosphere is good nut then the character acting is pretty miserable.

Basically, this game should be better than it is.

1 Star Hands down, worst ever
OK, so I’ve been playing Res Evil 4, so I’m a little biased. But I’ve also been playing House of Dead and Res Evil Umbrella Chronicles, so I know a little bit about survival horror games that aren’t so great. But Obscure is awful. It starts out so dark you can’t even see what is there. I walked arond in circles for ten minutes trying to find a way out. Then you are suddenly flashed back to college and the whole scene becomes a drug induced blur. If you get motion sick from games at all, forget this one!

Lousy controls, horrible voice acting (made me feel like I was watching one of those teeny bop horror remakes), no fun.

5 Stars Ghost Squad = FUN
Ghost Squad is kinda a resemblance to Time Crisis with the characters and game play kinda looking like Counter Strike. I like this game and I think it’s the 2nd Best Game I own from the Wii Sports and I’ve only had my Wii for less than a week now.

2 Stars Too Short To Fully Enjoy
I bought this product because it allowed 2 shooters at once. Maybe it’s me, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that, after repeated tries, yet. The game only has 3 levels (or maps). After that, there’s no more. The levels that are there, are well done and of arcade quality. I just can’t give it a high rating since it just doesn’t provide “bang” for the buck due to its very short duration and lack of replay value. It does work very well with the SureShot handgun.

4 Stars Multi-Player Fun
This game is perfect for multi-player game play. I would suggest this game for group players.

5 Stars Entertaining, kids love it
Hi, we used this game on our Wii system. It is a nice shooting game that will keep you entertained for hours.

Must have if you like Action and 1st person shooting games.

5 Stars Ghoast Squad
Quick action and non-stop. Love that you can continue even after you are shot so you don’t have to start all over again. Gives you a chance to play through the whole game. Also, the voiceover is short so you are not waiting forever to get to the next set. Well made, easy to play and lots of variations.

5 Stars Excellent Game
I have a 5 year old son who’s not into blasting people away. But since this are terrorists, he loves it. My wife loves it too and in the multiplayer option you just can’t miss. You’ll find hours of entertainment with different missions, different places, different costumes…. it’s great. I highly recommend it if you love to play arcade games. I don’t have a zapper, but I guess it’s better with it.

2 Stars Multiplayer problems
The multiplayer mode is a major feature of this game but the game will not recognize my second remote. All other Wii games recognize the other remote in multi player mode. Ghost Squad just flashes when I press the + button on the second remote. Without the multiple player feature, this game is not worth purchasing. I have not seen any resolutions to the problem of recognizing a second remote.

1 Star it sucked!
this is probably the worst game in the world there r only 3 missions. after u beat them it is so boring. DO NOT BUY I WASTED MY MONEY ON A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!. U cant even move around. iT DOES IT FOR U. not a impressive game!!!!!!!!!

5 Stars Great Game
My girlfriend and I love this game. I also own House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return, and its great to have two awesome shooting games for Wii. Just as I did in my review for HotD, I highly recommend picking up the Wii Perfect Shot Gun for use in this game.

I like unlocking weapons and costumes, it adds some replay value to the game. I also like the fact that you have an infinite ammount of continues (Although in HotD, I get more satisfaction when I win on my set ammount of lifes).

Skipping cutscenes is annoying if you are using the Perfect Shot (and probably the zapper). I only hold the Perfect Shot with one hand, and the action button (skip cutscene button) is the a button, so its usually annoying to push. It is also awkward to do the action scenes in the game, and change shot type, but its something that I can get used to.

There are a few mini games under the training section which are pretty fun to play. I haven’t tried out party mode yet, but I’ve heard good reviews about it.

5 Stars Great “Shooter” For The Wii
“Ghost Squad” is a very enjoyable shooting game! My son and I liked to play the arcade version together and the Wii game brings the same enjoyment into our living room. The missions are very fun and are certainly challenging enough. There are some hidden “easter eggs” in the game (the “Panda Suit” is a hoot, and there are many others).

Use the WiiRemote by itself is difficult to get accurate shots so my son likes to use Wii Zapper with Link’s Crossbow Training and I prefer the Wii Perfect Shot Gun . Our accuracy was much improved using these guns!

Highly recommended!
