4 Stars Virtual kitten simulator
Purr Pals can best be described as a virtual pet simulator for feline lovers. It does a decent job of this by mixing both the fun and responsibilities of caring for a kitten, and could be used as an “edutainment” tool for teaching children what’s involved in being a pet owner. After selecting a breed and customizing various attributes, including naming the virtual kitty, the player must monitor the kitten’s needs, such as love, food, play, etc., and respond accordingly. Playing games with the kitten earns money which can then be used to buy various items, including essentials, toys, and accessories. There’s plenty of fun to be had with Purr Pals, but again, it’s more a pet simulator than a game in a conventional sense. The visuals are cute and reasonably good for the Wii hardware.

1 Star UGH frustrating game!
I bought this game for my 6 year old Daughter’s birthday

She isnt into the sports or other mainstream games so I was hoping this would be a more relaxed just go and do what you want.

First off the graphics and interactions are more on par with a $20 game- cheap and very unimpressive. the games are no fun and actually difficult.

My daughter just got penalized and lost $ for not doing enough with her cat and she has only been playing like 20 minutes!!!!! And the things she lost $ on were al things she did with the cat, or tried to. = not that she can actually earn a decent amount to buy anything but flea spray cause the cat always has fleas!!!! This is by far the WORST video game I have bought for any of my kids on any system!!

It isnt even like she can just roam each room and just play this game is very lame on it’s interaction as well.. She has to ALWAYS go to a differnt screen to do anything! which is choppy. Your child should probably be a decent reader, is isnt very obvious what you need to do or when at all.

Wii: The Conduit Preview From Official Nintendo Magazine November 3rd, 2008 Want to know more about one of the biggest games coming to Wii and it’s not from Nintendo. Official Nintendo Magazine has a preview of The Conduit. Although what we played of The Conduit was still only a short example of the final game (it’s currently in the ‘polish’ pre-alpha phase), we’re already very impressed with what it has to offer. It certainly has some of the best visuals we’ve seen for a while on the Wii (t

5 Stars I beat my girfriend in Wii Degree. (It was a proud moment)
The Wii degree was fun, especially with a couple or group of people.

Just don’t have hard feelings afterwards, its just a game!

4 Stars Big Brains
This game is challenging and takes a good bit of concentration. My kids love it and are getting better and better at it.

4 Stars A really good brain workout
Challenging and fun at the same time. Great for all ages so the whole family can play. My daughter and I enjoyed it so much we couldn’t stop playing. The graphics and visuals are generic enough so this game won’t become outdated in a year or two. We highly recommend it to families looking for good, clean, mentally stimulating entertainment.

4 Stars back to school!
Summer’s ending, kids long ago gave up on doing workbooks & writing in their journals. What to do to get their brains in gear before schools starts up? I ask myself.

Enter Brain Academy. Right now there are 4 kids aged 6-9 whooping it up on my Wii, doing some simple math & visual tasks – 2 of them have “bigger brains” than me, lol!

Fun, good for a rainy day especially, and IMO much better use of time than many other “games” out there.

4 Stars Good Family activity
I’ve had this game for a couple of weeks. It’s not quite what I expected but it’s challenging and fun. The setup and data stuff is a bit tedious, IMHO. Also I don’t like all the screen narrative after the game is over, but I don’t like it on other WII games either.

This is a good family game and will be fun for kidergarteners and up. Within a family setting, even the high schoolers will have fun.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Very disappointed in Top Spin 3
Overall this game was a huge disappointment! The graphics were poor and the game was boring. I wanted to sell this game after playing it just a couple of times. I’ll think twice befor purchasing a new game without checking out the reviews.

5 Stars Finally A Game that Im not frustrated with.
I love love Topspin 3,it awesome and easy to control. The graphic are out of this world love it love it.I love everything about this game. The control is easy for me and maybe for not everybody else( patience people patience). The weather love how changes etc….. The problem I have people in the stand here not calling the person I create it name at all like other tennis game I remember. I wish they would give alot of different worlds name so the people in the stands can call that name out like real tennis games.

4 Stars Fun game but needs something else
Don’t think about comparing this game with WiiTennis (that one that comes with the sports bundle). TopSpin3 was supposed to be more like a PS3 game with higher quality graphics and gameplay.

I’ve been playing it for a month or so. Overall it’s been really fun but sometimes it’s a bit hard to ‘get into’ the game. There’s no skill level option, what made my wife hate it after the second day, and the training/tutorial session is nothing more than instructions that you can find in the manual.

There’s a lack of freeplay like training, doubles and online challenges.

Soundtrack are a bit annoying too but not a big deal.

3 Stars HIts & Miss
Finally a tennis game I can swing to with real players. It’s fun and a good workout (for one arm mostly). The only downside is that there is no career mode. I’d love for it to have had a create player mode where you take him/her from the bottom of the rankings to the top.

4 Stars some unfair reviews here
THIS IS NOT WII TENNIS. No, it is not the simple controls of wii sports tennis. This is much more realistic. True tennis fans and players will love how realistic it is (and true tennis fans and players hate how UNREALISTIC wii sports tennis is). There are a lot of unfair reviews here by people who didn’t spend any time with the game. YOU CAN hit drop shots, lobs, overheads, top spin, slice, slice serves etc. You can even go for risky serves that up the speed and position. It just takes practice. The use of the nunchuck is not a problem (I wish wii sports tennis uses the nunchuck, so you could actually get into proper position). Also, I see no reason why you couldn’t play left handed (someone said you can’t in another review). There is no setting for lefthanded players, b/c it’s not needed! Just switch hands. Some one complained about slow game play b/c of cut scenes of players after points: hit the B button and you skip them. You can even hit the B button and shake the controllers in different directions to show different emotions.

Reason for the 4 stars instead of five: no wi-fi (why was this left out!?), some retro players would be fun (Sampras, Agassi, McEnroe, Lendl, Graf, etc.), no NADAL?!, it’d be enhance play if there was an “attitude/confidence” meter or something (ie if you are getting your butt handed to you your attitude is down and you play worse, miss lines, etc… hit a winner/ace and you attitude/confidence goes up and you play better), and finally it’d be cool if there was commentators.

Short list: great game if you LOVE and PLAY TENNIS!
